2008-09 Teaching Vacancies
 

The Clifton-Fine CSD is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

  • Choral/General Music Teacher (Full-Time Tenure Track); effective 9/1/2008. NYS Music Teacher Certification Required.
  • Computer Skills (.6 Long Term Leave Replacement); effective 9/1/2008. Any NYS Teacher Certification & expertise with PC applications such as MS Office.
  • Driver Education (.2 Long Term Leave Replacement): effective 9/1/2008. NYS Driver Education Certification required.

 Emergency Delays and School Closings

Parents and students should be aware of a new additional delayed start schedule.  We currently use a two hour delay when adverse weather makes travel unsafe.  Beginning Tuesday, March 4 we will add a four hour delayed start option.  In the event of a four hour delay, classes will begin at noon.  This option provides more time to assess changing weather and road safety conditions.

The decision to move from a two hour delay to a four hour delay will usually be made by 8:30AM.  The decision to move from a four hour delay to a school closure will usually be made by 10:30AM.

If and when we make use of the four hour delayed start schedule, please be aware of the following:

Buses will pick up students four hours later than normal.
Meals will not be served.  Students should eat prior to coming to school.
After school activities will proceed as usual unless noted otherwise.
