Well, what can I say about myself that you don't already know?
I could say that I'm writing a short story called "A Dying Sun" and a book of shorter stories called "The Nature of Things" and most of my stories take place in...STAR LAKE! What?! Nothing ever happens in Star Lake! Well, we'll see.
I'm also writing a book of poems called "See-Through Pink: Never Rudechild Sings the Blues Again." The best part is, Never Rudechild didn't sing the blues yet, so the title is just pure nonsense. But, I like pure nonsense.
I am going to put my radio show, "Dr. Robotic Presents: (dis)harmony" back on the air and you can tune in on SU's own WERW 1570AM. For those of you not in the Syracuse are, you can listen online by visiting http://werw.syr.edu and clicking on the "Listen" button. I play all kinds of music, but mostly rock n' roll, cuz that's what I do best, baby.
I'm also currently writing music and lyrics for my band with Pippy (Phil "Danny Boy" Latimer) and Mathematix (Matt "The Ace of Bass" Reed) and you can check out our webpage by visiting http://www.angelfire.com/goth/psylence/psylence.html. I must warn you, though, the page MAY offend some people. It it does, sorry! (Please note that I'm not really sorry, I just like to lie.)
It's about time I settled down, so I took a young lady and made her my bride. We are moving to Los Angeles next year and would love it if any of you would join us (We need the extra money!).
Also, if anyone wants to start a gansta rap group, call me up. I'm really a wonder when it comes to rhyming and thugging. My rap name is Grand Master Alkami$t because "everything I touch turns to gold."
Hear this: I was just joking about getting married and moving to LA. But, if you want to send me money that would be just fine.
Rock on.
UPDATE:
Hello, people. It's J. I'm livin' it up here in Syracuse, with my lady friend, Lauren, and our two (wild) cats (too wild cats) Polar and Charles. Aaaaah....Syracuse! What a town! The neighbors are crazy and we go to sleep to the soothing sound of police sirens and after hours crowd stumbling down the avenue in the snow. I love it.
My current interests include writing jazz-fusion tunes for my fledgling rock group ("nobody left to run with anymore"), studying various topics from out-of-date (and thus, obsolete) textbooks, and thinking about writing a dramedy series called "Brutally Frank" about a man (Frank) who cannot recognize sarcasm or playful teasing and finds himself in odd situations as a result. Sounds horrible, I know.
Well, gang, I hope all is well with everyone and I hope our paths intersect sometime in the future. Enjoy!
