Welcome!  The Board of Education welcomes you to their meetings.  Agendas for the meetings are attached at the bottom of this paragraph.  We will continue to have a period of time devoted to Audience Participation/Community Reaction right after we open the meeting.  Individuals are permitted to speak up to 3 minutes.  A total of 15 minutes will be allowed for public comment.  To make the most of your time, we ask that you state your name and address (this allows us to send information to you if requested); be concise so your message can be delivered in the the 3 minute time frame (this allows others the opportunity to be heard); discussions involving individual district personnel or students are not permitted in public session and should be addressed with administration; and all speakers are to conduct themselves in a civil manner (obscene language, libelous statements, threats of violence, statements advocating racial, religious or other forms of prejudice will not be tolerated).  The Board is present to hear your comments but may refrain from commenting until we have had an opportunity to thoughtfully reflect on what you have said.  If your comments require a response from the Board, we will follow-up with the response in an appropriate manner.  We thank you for your input and comments and encourage you to attend the Board meetings on a regular basis.  If you feel uncomfortable speaking to the Board in public, please submit your comments in writing to the Superintendent.  Comments will then be given to the Board in their next meeting packet.  Thank you for your participation in this democratic process.

Effective with the meeting of May 21, 2013 all board meetings will be conducted in the Cafeteria, and start at 6:00 p.m.

The agenda (abd back-up) for the June 17 meeting is below.
